Summer has finally graced us, with its glorious rays of sun here in Montana! The chickens have been emerging from the coop bright eyed and bushy tailed around 4:45am every morning. The girls waltz out, single file to the vegetable garden where they transform into little Velociraptors, devouring every grasshopper, beetle, and slug they come across. Cheers to no-pesticides needed!
Summer’s radiance was in full force for Poultry Haus’ second Poultry Queen photo shoot. It was the weather, and our vivacious model and real life Poultry Queen, Cheryl that made this shoot exceptional. We arrived before the sun at a beautiful private farm just south of Bozeman, Montana. The grass was sublimely lush, and the sky was dramatically lit with fierce morning clouds. Cheryl is a gorgeous redhead who channeled her alter ego aka Poultry Queen: a 50s rockabilly diva, tattoos and all. She harbors a passion for vintage things, pin up girls, and the diverse flock of 25 chickens she oversees at work. Cheryl told us about her and her husband hitting the road and going to car shows with their 1952 Ford F1 resto-mod, which made a great prop! The color of the truck inspired a new model of Chicken Bangle: we have begun to make Chicken Bangles in a variety of colors in addition to our original metallics!
Check Cheryl out in all her fabulousness!
